12 Pilot Course - Selected officer cadets selected candidates were sent to ITC Walton in Lahore for ground and service training for 10 weeks, followed by a two week break. Thereafter they joined 1 EFTS (Secunderabad) or 2 EFTS (Jodhpur) for 10 weeks on Tigermoths for Basic flying on 25 January 1942 and completed the training 25 March 1942. They were commissioned on reporting to 1 SFTS (Ambala on Audax and Hart) for advanced flying on 5 April 1942. They were awarded wings on completion of the advanced traning on 24 September 1942.
