This is the Indian Air Force’s MiG 25 RB reccebat converted from the Hasegawa A model with the radar nose and missiles. The conversion really requires only a nose profile change and painting-on of the dielectric panels under and to the sides of the nose.
The aircraft belongs to the “Trisonics” squadron which took on the motif of an Eagle with its talons forward in the attack posture. Large scale painting of this motif required the use of a stencil that required several cut outs in the bird. Hence the disjointed look of the motif.
The aircraft is in the neutral grey sported by Foxbats worldwide with various mixes of gloss black and silver for the steel panels and exausts. Grey pastels were used for weathering the panel lines. No serials were applied as the aircraft is still a touchy issue within the IAF
