The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the following appointments:

 

i.           Shri Rabindra Panwar, IAS (BH:1985), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Defence as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Defence vice Shri Suresh Kumar, IAS (J&K: 1986) on upgraded post.

 

ii.         Ms. Meenakshi Gupta, IA&AS (1984), Joint Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Labour & Employment as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers vice Shri Gajendra Bhujbal, 1E5(1981) on his superannuation on 31.10.2016.

 

iii.       Shri Arun Goel, IAS (P5:1985), Vice Chairman, Delhi Development Authority under Ministry of Urban Development on lateral shift as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Labour & Employment vice Ms. Meenakshi Gupta, IA&AS (1984) by upgrading that post to the level of Additional Secretary for a period of two years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

 

iv.       Shri S. N. Sahai, IAS (UT:1986), presently in his Cadre as Additional Secretary, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry vice Shri Arvind Mehta, IAS (HP:1984) on completion of his tenure on 28.09.2016.

 

v.         Shri Sumanta Chaudhuri, IAS (WB:1985), presently in his Cadre as Managing Director, Small Farmers' Agri-Business Consortium, Department of Agriculture and Cooperation in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary under Central Staffing Scheme.

 

vi.       Shri Ashok Pai, IFoS (UK:1983), Joint Secretary, National Commission for Scheduled Tribes on lateral shift as Chief Executive Officer, National Waqf Development Corporation Limited (NAWADCO), Ministry of Minority Affairs in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary under Central Staffing Scheme for two years or until further orders.

 

vii.     Ms. Anuradha Mitra, IDAS (1984), Joint Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology by upgrading that post to the level of Additional Secretary for a period of two years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

 

viii.   Ms. Vandana Sharma, ICAS(1984), Joint Secretary, Department of Pensions and Pensioners' Welfare as Additional Secretary, Department of Pensions and Pensioners' Welfare by upgrading that post to the level of Additional Secretary for a period of two years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

 

ix.       Shri Suresh Kumar, IAS (J&K:1986), Additional Secretary, Ministry of Defence as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Coal against the vacancy on appointment of Shri A. K. Dubey, IAS (KL:1982) as OSD in the Department of Youth Affairs.

 

x.         Shri Sanjeeva Kumar, IAS (AM:1986), presently in his Cadre as Additional Secretary, Department of Health & Family Welfare, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare against the vacancy on appointment of Shri C. K. Mishra, IAS(BH:1983) as Secretary, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.

 

xi.       Shri Arun Goya!, IAS (UT:1985) Additional Secretary, Project Monitoring Group, Cabinet Secretariat on lateral shift as Additional Secretary, GST Council against Newly created post under Central Staffing Scheme.

 

xii.     Shri U. P. Singh, IAS (OD:1985), Additional Secretary, Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation as Additional Secretary, River Ganga (Rejuvenation, Protection and Management) Authority against Newly created post.

 

xiii. Shri Udai Pratap Singh, IAS(JH:1984), Additional Secretary, Ministry of Tourism on lateral shift as Vice Chairman, Delhi Development Authority under Ministry of Urban Development in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary vice Shri Arun Goel, IAS (PB:1985)
