Trilateral Exercise

US, Indian and Japanese naval ships steam in formation as part of TRILATEX '07, the first trilateral exercise between the three nations. The training event was held on 16 April 2007 near Tokyo Bay, Japan to give senior leaders and ship and aircraft crews a chance to work on joint interoperability. Pictured, from left to right, are Japanese Navy destroyer JS Ikazuchi (DD 107), US Navy destroyer USS Mustin (DDG 89), Indian Navy corvette INS Kuthar P46, Japanese Navy destroyer JS Takanami (DD 110), Indian Navy replenishment tanker INS Jyoti A58, Japanese Navy destroyer JS Kirishima (DD 174), Indian Navy destroyer INS Mysore D60, US Navy destroyer USS John S. McCain (DDG 56) and Japanese Navy destroyer JS Murasame (DD 101).
